2009 is the year to invest in energy saving products with all of the incentives that are being offered.
The Federal government has available tax credits for energy efficient gas water heaters, furnaces, heat pumps and central air conditioning units. For the 2009-2010 year the maximum tax credit for energy efficient home improvements is now $1,500. For more details on the Federal Tax credits visit the website www.energystar.gov
